 Welcome to the SIR SPEEDY® website available at www.sirspeedy.com and at other uniform resource locators, including related or linked web pages of our Sir Speedy® businesses (our “Site”). In this Privacy Policy, you are referred to as "You" "Your(s)" “Yourself” or "User." Also, “Sir Speedy” refers collectively to Sir Speedy, Inc., its employees, and its parent company, Franchise Services, Inc., and its employees, the Sir Speedy system as utilized by you, as well as references to “us” and “we” and “our.”
 
  By interacting with our Site and engaging with us for services, you agree that your personal information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.
 
  This Privacy Policy is an important document that explains how we address some of our legal obligations, and your related legal rights, involving personal information.

  • Franchise clients

  • Information about your internet activity, such as the equipment you use to access our Site and usage details.
  • Professional or employment-related information, such as your job title or type and current or past job history.

  • Sensitive personal information, such as your username and password to access your account with us.

  Sir Speedy occasionally sends our customers and the users of the Site announcements and updates, which contain important information about the Site and service offerings, which we believe to be of value to our users.   • To provide you the services you request, including to provide you with franchise opportunities or to evaluate your ability to maintain a franchise opportunity
  • To have and enable both affiliates and non-affiliated third parties to provide additional services to you.
  • To operate, maintain and improve the services we provide and create new features and functionality.
  • For fraud detection and information security.

  Internet activity is also collected:

  • To understand and analyze usage trends and preferences of our users across different devices.

  You may, of course, decline to share certain information with us, in which case we may not be able to provide you with some of the features and functionality of the services.  We will not share SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers for SMS purposes with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
 
  We may take part in or be involved with a corporate business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, joint venture, or financing or sale of company assets. We may disclose personal information to a third-party during negotiations of, in connection with or as an asset in such a corporate business transaction. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

State Privacy Rights

Right to Know/Access: You may have the right to send us a verifiable request asking that we disclose to you the categories or specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed and sold about you.
 
Right to Request Deletion: You may have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
 
Right to Correction: You may have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information we may hold about you. CO-BRANDED & THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

  By using our Site, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use INCLUDING ALL LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS PROVISIONS which are an integral part hereof and you consent to the collection and use of this information by Sir Speedy as disclosed in this Privacy Policy. We may revise this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use at any time by updating these postings. Security Information & Your Rights

  We take appropriate precautions to protect the information of the users of our Site. When users submit sensitive information via the Site, that Information is protected both online and off-line. Only those of our employees who need the information to perform a specific function are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, our employees are kept up to date on our security and privacy practices.

Surveys or Contests

  From time-to-time we may request information from the users of the Site via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary, and the users of the Site have a choice whether or not to disclose this information.
